In a world of celebrities who preferred to admit tax evasion of bites, Katerina Ryan It is a breath of fresh air. The Canadian comedian always wore his job and Botox with pride and there is a serious reason for the sincerity of joke.
Above her 41 years, Katherine has experienced the good, evil and ugly of cosmetic improvements and is now talking to help others make safer choices for their faces and bodies. These days, he is a long -term client of the award -winning aesthetic person Dr. Nina BalBut it wasn’t always so lucky.

“I really had dodgy lips injections when I was young. And that happened because I didn’t have the information or funds to go to the right place,” he says, speaking in the launch of The new London Clinic of Dr. Bal. “I heard about this amateur to do it in a basement for cash and I thought,” I’m going to do it now, and it will be fine. And if it doesn’t work, it will just go in a few months. “That was when I was 21 years old. He’s never gone.
Now older and wiser, he adds: “Finding the right cosmetic doctor is so important. I’ve been to Nina since 2015 and I trust her completely.”

Katherine has shrunk because she has been filled in recent years, but she points out that it was a corrective process instead of reinforcement. “When [Dr Bal] has done [lip] Completion in the past, it’s just for even a little out. I will always have a piece of an error due to a mistake. This is one of the reasons why I reveal so much. I think there must be more awareness of how bad things can go if you do it without training and do it in cheap. ”

The crisis it gets to wash the treatments on it, he adds. “I’m impenetrable in criticism,” he smiles. “If people want to gossip about the way I look at, I feel I offer them a useful service as a comedian. Some people really want to criticize and don’t mind me, as well as doing well. I’m so lucky. really I don’t care. ”
It helps that her experiences with cosmetic improvement were largely positive. “I really liked to get breast implants,” says Katherine, who wanted surgery in all her teens and had it in the early 1920s. “I had no breasts and they never grew up. I was lucky because I went to a really great boat certified surgeon and I always had this idea of what was reasonable and proportional. I never had any deformity. [but] I have always been quite conservative. And she really transformed my life. I felt much more feminine, much more beautiful. ”

Katherine says she’s very sure
Today, she describes herself as a “very sure body” and is pleased to focus on facial aesthetics (her skin is perfectly flawless, we can only admire her.) The status of Dr Bal is “very personalized” and includes prescription bands, Your skin. ”
‘When I was pregnant with Fred [now three]I had to continue the steroids to regulate my autoimmune illness, “says Katherine, who had a specialized anti-militar treatment after two baby losses.” I looked like a completely different version of myself. My face became bigger, so when [the weight] I went, I had residual looseness of the skin. I didn’t see anything right away [from HIFU]But as the weeks passed, I could see my skin lift and contribute. ”

Katherine says the use of steroids during pregnancy changed its appearance
She had to wait until she had completed the breastfeeding of her younger daughter, Fenna, before the Dr Bal protocol began: “It was for her patience and polite and the period until I was able to see Nina again,” she explains.
Now, almost two years after the birth of Fenna, a combination of non -invasive therapies has let Katherine look at and feel back to her old self. “It didn’t bother me that I won all this burden of pregnancy. It was a time of my life and bent over it.
“But we want to recognize ourselves. The best friend you ever have is the same, and I like to recognize it in the mirror again. I didn’t even know how bad it was until I got back to how I usually look in the mirror one day and I went,” Oh, it’s there! ”
He entrusts Dr Bal by creating a long -term skin strategy that is suitable for her, as a 41 -year -old mom of three. Now it has “not too much” in the way of injections suspended by muscles: “I don’t want to be” frozen mom “.

Katherine is happy to have her usual jaw back
The key to all this, firmly believes, finds someone who respects your face. “I went to see some American aestheticists when I was working out there and they just have a one-stop shop,” he says. “There is someone famous in particular who is not ready for my narrow, weak cell jaw.”
“So, back in this country, people were like,” Did you have too much filler? “But I think I had it where it wasn’t fit for me. [With Dr Bal] We have pulled back to fill. I like to see someone who has experience with different ethnicities, different face shapes, different ages and understands what is right for me. ”

Lips Crews – The View Experts
Dr. Nina Bal explains what you need to know
What can go wrong by filling the lip in the wrong hands?
One of the most common issues is unnatural results. Excessive lips can be disproportionate, disrupting the natural harmony of facial features. Excessive lips can stretch the skin and can cause changes in the structure of the lips that may not be reversible, even after the filler is dissolved or removed.
There are also possible medical complications. When the filling lips are not performed with a proper technique or understanding of the facial anatomy, there is a risk of accidentally entering a blood vessel. This can lead to vascular obstruction, where blood supply is prevented, possibly causing necrosis (tissue death). In severe cases, part of the lip or surrounding tissue could be permanently destroyed or lost.
Is full filling in common problem?
Yes. Unfortunately, many non -medical professionals can still be legally injected. While they may have basic training, they often do not have the knowledge and skills necessary to handle complications that may arise.
The growing popularity of aesthetic therapies has brought more non -experts in the field, and while some may do a decent job, there are many cases where patients come to me to correct uneven results, excessive areas or even more dangerous complications.
How are the lip fillings corrected?
If someone had fillers of upstream login, I use an enzyme called Hyaluronidase to dissolve them. However, this comes with its own set of risks, including allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock. If it is silicone, as in the case of Katherine, I cannot of course remove it, but I can make small injections of HA filling to normalize the overall look.
When dealing with an unknown substance, which may occur in cases where a patient may not know exactly what was injected or the product is not properly documented, the first step is always a diagnostic imaging. I would usually recommend a magnetic resonance scan to detect the filling type and evaluate the extent of the issue.
How can people minimize the risk of problems?
The most important step is to ensure that the person who performs the treatment of your lips filling is a specialized medical professional. Those with experience and training in facial anatomy are more likely to produce safe and aesthetically pleasing results.
Before committing to a process, schedule consultations with many professionals. This gives you the opportunity to compare their approaches, ask questions and measure their level of expertise.
Ask how they handle complications such as infections or allergic reactions. A qualified professional should have a clear plan to manage the adverse effects.
