Luxury real estate has been booming in South Florida for some time now, and the attraction to the area shows no signs of slowing down. A new record was set in Sunny Isles Beach, a city in northern Miami-Dade County, for the highest contract for a condominium. The $55 million sale is for a penthouse located in the south tower of St. Regis Residences. Not yet built, the property is expected to be completed by 2027.
Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Patricia Anastassiadis and landscaping by EDSA, the pair of oval-shaped buildings stand out among the area’s more traditionally shaped structures. Inside, curved elements recall the memorable design of the building’s exterior. The property offers more than 70,000 square feet of amenities spread across the beach club, athletic club and wellness center, including three oceanfront pools, a pickle ball court and a lounge bar. juice, among the long list of leisure and wellness options. The penthouses specifically feature their own private pool, outdoor kitchen, and ceiling heights of over 12 feet.
This record transaction took place at the very time of the launch of sales for the North Tower. North Tower homes start at 2,000 square feet and range up to 10,000 square feet, with prices starting at around $4.5 million and penthouses at around $60 million. The property was developed by Fortune International Group and Chateau Group and is managed by St. Regis Hotel and Resorts.

A pair of Billy Cotton-designed residences on the Upper East Side
AD100 designer Billy Cotton has created homes for renowned artists Cindy Sherman And Lisa Yuskavageas well as artists David Harbor and Lily Allen— and he spent time as creative director at Ralph Lauren Home. Today, the designer unveiled two bright model units in The Treadwell, a new condominium on the Upper East Side.
Both homes are furnished with a mix of custom pieces and vintage finds from the Paris flea market, creating a sophisticated quality of living in the spaces. Distinct textures and custom millwork combine to create a truly sumptuous atmosphere that provides a tranquil antidote to the hustle and bustle of the city.
“The vision for these homes was to create spaces that were natural, simple and elegant,” Cotton said in a statement. “I wanted to create a design that was sophisticated and welcoming, while paying homage to our Upper East Side setting.”
