THERE is NOTHING worse than spending years at a salon and dropping the cash on an expensive manicure, only to walk away unimpressed with your nails.
And this happened to a woman who asked for an ombre manicure, but ended up with nails that look more like teeth.

A beauty fan has revealed she went to a new nail salon for a set of acrylic nails, but regretted her decision after being left with nails that social media users say could have been done by an 11-year-old.
Posted on the community sharing platform, Reddit, on Expectation Vs RealityKaylee Mariek shared a photo of the nails she wanted, as well as a break of the studs he actually got, as he wrote: “What I asked for… What I got.”
Kaylee then explained, “I’ve done the same thing before. It looked great.
“But I chose a nail place closer to my friend’s workplace so I could visit him and then get my nails done.”
But alas, after the woman dropped $55 [£43.65] on the beauty appointment, she claimed: “I’m never doing that again.”
Instead of the neat ombre fade, the woman was left with very messy and stark nails, which looked nothing like the natural manicure she was hoping for.
He then claimed: “It was so embarrassing. I kept asking for a different shape.
“They didn’t know anything in there!”
Reddit users were stunned by Kaylee’s failure, and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.
One person said: “Looks like an 11 year old trying to make a gradient on MS paint with the spray can.”
Another added: “They look like teeth.”
While a third shouted: “When the veneers are too big. Like Matt Dillon in Something About Mary.’
Not only that, but someone else commented: “They screwed you over, sorry you paid and expected a VERY different result, unprofessional of them.”
Meanwhile, another beauty fan shared: “The idea of a nail artist who can’t even do an ombre working profitably in the field is a travesty.
“Make sure you rate the place with this image.”
At the same time, one person claimed: “This would be a situation where I would refuse to pay unless they fixed it.”

However, Kaylee later admitted: “I know it looks bad and I should have spoken up for myself.”
Kaylee then asked Reddit users: “I need to go do them again but I can’t drive right now because I have epilepsy. So I have to stare at these ugly things.
“Any advice? Should I paint them? I do not know what to do.”
In it, one user recommended: “Definitely draw on them!”
Frustrated by her manicure blunder, the beauty fan later revealed: “I’ll probably enjoy them and then go to my original salon and get new nails done.”
