Jojo Siwa made Miami Beach Pride history with a groundbreaking feat: her performance of her latest song, “Karma,” drew an unprecedented crowd, setting a new event attendance record.

She donned a white and rainbow bodysuit in homage to the LGBTQ+ pride festivities, complete with iconic Kiss makeup with white paint around her eyes.
Siwa’s song “Karma” was released on April 5, accompanied by a music video. However, after the liberation, the former Dance Moms The star received a plethora of hate and negative reviews. This new song marked the beginning of her rebrand, moving from hair bows and high ponytails to racy outfits and a faux hawk hairstyle.
“I’m so happy because it’s taken so long and so much work to get to this point,” Siwa said in a statement. “For ‘Karma’ to finally be here and in the hands of the world, it’s incredible. WE DID IT. It hasn’t been easy, it’s been very hard, and the criticism has been real, but we “we did, and I’m so happy, so proud and so ready for the whole world to enjoy the show.”
Following all the hate she received over her new image, she responded at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. “People are afraid of things they don’t know”, Siwa said E! News the 1st of April. “Things can be scary for people. New things can be very, very scary.”
