Gypsy Rose Blanchard shows off her new look and new nose as she made her first public appearance since plastic surgery on April 5.
The Munchausen survivor by proxy went to the Dollar General store in Cut Off Louisana, where she was shopping with her stepmother. The gypsy dressed casually in gym shorts and a zip-up hoodie and has her hair in a ponytail, according to photos taken by TMZ.
Gypsy, 32, previously shared a photo with bandages covering most of her face, making her results hard to see, but in this new shot, she’s wearing a bandage over her nose strip, which shows much smaller. TMZ reports that the surgery cost Gypsy $5,000, which is about average per person American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

This show is a continuation of Lifetime’s previous documentaries The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, detailing the childhood abuse Gypsy suffered at the hands of DeeDee. Accusations included forcing unnecessary medical treatments for false diagnoses.
The rhinoplasty is not the only change that Gypsy has undergone recently. A few weeks ago, Gypsy announced that she had split from Ryan, writing: “I need time to let myself find… who I am.”
It has been since spotted she was spending time with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker. (Ken’s mother said People that he’s just “being a supportive friend” right now.)
Gypsy met Ken after he sent her a letter in prison. He proposed to her during a visit to the Chillicothe Correctional Facility in Missouri in 2018, per MI! News.
