News details on the the death from the old hockey player Konstantin Koltsov were shared.
The 42 year old man former boyfriend of a professional tennis player Aryna Sabalenka died of an apparent suicide, Miami-Dade police said in a statement to E! News on March 19, adding that “no foul play is suspected.”
Koltsov played for the Belarus national hockey team in 2002 and 2010. Olympic Games as well as with the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins between 2003 and 2006. He then moved to Russia to play for the Salavat Yulaev Ufa team, where he later worked as an assistant coach.
“He was a strong and happy person,” the Kontinental Hockey League team said in a translated statement on March 18. “He was loved and respected by players, colleagues and fans.”
The statement continued: “Konstantin has forever written his place in the history of our club. (He) won the Russian Championship and the Gagarin Cup within Salavat Yulaev, and did an excellent job within the technical staff of the team.”
