Chrisell Stause has gone under the knife after learning her 15-year-old breast implants “broke”.
The star of “Selling Sunset.” revealed on Instagram On Sunday she underwent her second breast augmentation after a “full body scan” proved her silicone implants had separated.
Stause, 43, said her “first thought was fear,” as she didn’t know if “the rupture would lead to complications.”
“I think that’s the scary part. It was really a surprise to me,” he said in the video. “I didn’t feel any symptoms. Of course, there are things looking back where it’s like, “Oh, could that have been it?” But I’m not sure.”
Although she hadn’t felt anything strange, the Netflix personality explained that knowing something was wrong with her body created a “mental block.”
“It’s weird,” he said. “I just didn’t like feeling like I could be hurting my body long term.”
Stause’s original surgeon was no longer in practice, so she had to find a new one to “get all the silicone out.”
Eventually, the broker connected with Dr. Josef Hadeed, with whom he felt he was “in the best hands.”
“If you have aged – or should we say ‘vintage’ – breast implants, you should get them checked out,” she advised her followers.
A broken silicone breast implant has a tear or hole and often goes unnoticed, according to the Mayo Clinic. While it may “lead to breast pain or changes in breast shape,” it “is not thought to cause breast cancer, reproductive problems, or connective tissue disease.”
Stause, who is more than two months post-surgery, explained in the caption of her video that she is “in no way encouraging anyone to change anything about their body” by sharing her own plastic surgery experience.
“I want to be completely open and transparent about my experience in the hope that it might help anyone else going through it,” she added.
Although some of her ‘Selling Sunset’ co-stars have been open about their plastic surgery, Stause rarely talks about her enhancements.
However, this is the second time he has undergone surgery in the last year or so.
In February 2023, the “All My Children” alum revealed that she had to have “a large ovarian cyst” removed.
At the time, she posted a photo of herself lying in a hospital gown after her “minor surgery.”
Stause explained that she had “bad, unexplained cramps” before consulting her doctor and encouraged her fans to seek medical help if they experience similar symptoms.
The reality star finished the message by assuring her followers that she was “feeling good” and “I’ve been taking care of her [love],” possibly referring to her partner, G Flip.
