A 32-year-old man who spent more than $6,000 on a hair and eyebrow transplant in Turkey has shown off his amazing transformation.
William Raine, from California, started having problems with his ‘wild’ hair in his teenage years and soon started to notice that his hairline was receding with his eyebrows also getting thinner.
The American native, who began to feel self-conscious about his appearance, tried to style his thin tresses to hide his receding hairline and widow’s peak.
But in the end, William decided to travel the world and forked out $6,300 for a hair transplant in the hope that it would rejuvenate his look.

Now, the content creator and head of sales in California has shared the impressive results of the “best decision of his life.”
“Growing up, I had nice hair and didn’t think much of it until I got older.
“In my teenage years, it got really frizzy and wild – and I noticed that my eyebrows were sparse while trying to grow unwieldy facial hair.
“My ‘bad bad’ hairline was something I hated as well and I was really hard on myself for it,” she explained.
However, after years of feeling insecure, William found a video about hair transplant surgery on TikTok.
William was desperate for a permanent solution, so he shelled out an eye-watering $6,000 to have his head and eyebrows pierced with tiny needles in an attempt to trigger hair growth.
He had the procedure in May 2023 and said the procedure was a four out of 10 on the pain scale, however, his eyebrows were more painful – registering an eight.

The surgery took place in Turkey, with the total cost covering flights, treatment and hotel.
He had an initial consultation via WhatsApp, before being put on a strict diet, and was then shown a demonstration of the surgery to come.
The method, called follicular unit extraction, aims to create a fuller hairline and thicker locks using ‘donor’ follicles from areas of the body with the most growth.
She said: “I remember thinking how ironic it was that on the day of the operation, I felt like I was having a good hair day.
“Then came the sad moment when my good hair day was doomed as my head was completely shaved off. I looked like Uncle Fester from The Addams Family.
“It was fun choosing which brow shape I wanted and I had a bit of a laugh trying them out.
“I was so comfortable the whole time and even fell asleep.”
The surgery lasted a total of eight hours and left the 32-year-old bruised and in shock.

William (seen after the procedure) noted that he didn’t expect to have so many bruises, however, he said it was important to trust the procedure
He added: “My first reaction [after seeing my new hairline] it was shocking, to say the least. But I’m very happy with the results.

Shortly after his surgery, William took to the video-sharing platform to debut his new look, which saw him covered in bruises and ink-like dots.
He said: “Did I need a hair transplant? And an eyebrow transplant? Probably not.’
William noted that he didn’t expect to have so many bruises, but said it was important to trust the process.
She even gave viewers some advice, saying: ‘A couple of nights I had some nerve pain afterwards and felt a bit sleep deprived as I was paranoid about messing up my hair – but then it became more manageable.
“I have to stop cutting my hair, including my eyebrows, for a while and I’m currently braiding it. I’m very happy with how it’s going though and my advice is, if it makes you happy, then go for it.
“I’ve been told I’m too young by many, but age doesn’t matter. And most importantly, make sure you’re very itchy – it’s worth it though.”
