Mohawk real estate and hospitality investor Robert Rivani of Black Lion Investment Group has sold his Miami Beach penthouse for $8 million — down from its asking price of $8.8 million Last June.
Rivani’s recent acquisitions include the Amara restaurant in Paraiso and Wynwood Jungle, a shopping center in Wynwood.
The penthouse is in the Piero Lissoni-designed Ritz-Carlton Residences, where famous owners include married couple Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, as well as MLB Hall of Famer Mike Piazza, retired U.S. catcher New York Mets.
Rivani paid $7.5 million for the penthouseone of the largest in the building, in 2021.
Rivani told Gimme Shelter that this penthouse was an in-between property, as he has since purchased a home in Miami.
The four-bedroom, five-bathroom corner residence, located at 4701 Meridian Ave., measures 4,525 square feet and features floor-to-ceiling windows and bay and ocean views. Amenities include a chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a media room, and a dining room with a statement blue chandelier.
The master suite was designed like a velvet jewelry box and offers water views.
Building amenities include a private marina, rooftop deck with cabanas and poolside grill, meditation garden, club room, and concierge.
The listing broker was Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman.
