TOWIE’s Mario Falcone left fans doing a double-take as he showed off his “completely different” face after his latest operation.
The ITVBe star, 36, showed off the results of eyelid surgery for the first time in June.
Now TOWIE fans have gushed about how the star “doesn’t look like Mario” after having his upper and lower eyelids operated on, in a surgery called an upper and lower blepharoplasty.
Mario treated his fans to a Q&A session about the cosmetic tweaks on his Instagram Stories page.
He turned to himself sitting on his couch wearing a black Adidas top.
His face looked distinctly different and more sculpted, while he kept his mustache and beard.
The ITVBe personality – who found fame on the reality TV series in 2011 – swapped his floppy, dark locks for a tighter hairstyle.
In his video he talked about his surgery under the watchful eye of Dr Carlo at Signature Clinic UK.
Commenting on his Instagram post, one fan was quick to muse: “You look totally different!”
A second sentence: “Oh, you don’t look like Mario! You look completely different!”
The third then added: “Jeez I was so confused you look so different.
“Oh my god this came up on my feed and I looked up who it was, totally different person!”
Earlier this summer, we reported how the Essex boy had become “self-conscious” about his looks.
At the time, he told his Instagram followers: “My hooded eyelids have been something I’ve become very conscious of in the last couple of years, I blame the kids. [laughing emoji], very happy with the results so far! Big thanks to @dr.carlodebbas.”
The NHS defines blepharoplasty as “cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids. Surgery changes the appearance of hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags.”
The surgery, which takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 and a half hours, sees incisions along the natural lines of the eyelids and removes excess fat and skin.

At the time, he told the Sun how he decided to go under the knife after being bullied by some of his co-stars.
