Nigerian comedian and manufacturer Skit Isaac Aloma, known as Zicasloma, has opened for reasons behind his recent decision to undergo rhinoplasty, offering his followers a picture of his process and travel.
To one video He shared on YouTube on Friday, the content creator opened for his insecurities and the judgments he faced throughout his life because of his nose appearance.
Personal insecurities behind the decision
Zicasloma said that he always felt conscious of facial features and explained that his decision was led by a long -term desire to change what had bothered him from childhood.
He said: “I always had a very flat nose and from childhood I felt that if I could make my nose, I would be rebuilt. I have constantly ridiculed because of my nose. My siblings will always offend me by saying:” Your nose is Very bad. ”
He noted that despite his nose to become smaller as he grew up, he had always taken the appearance of his father, as opposed to his brothers who inherited their mother’s sharp nose.
“Some of you believe that rhinoplasty is a death penalty. People do rhinoplasty for a variety of reasons. For some people, they do not like the shape of their noses, as in my case. Some have breathing problems, but in my case it is for Aesthetics, “Zicsaloma said.
Battle stigma around cosmetic surgery
The comedian also faced the stigma surrounding cosmetic surgery, especially in Nigeria, saying that many people remain critical to changing their appearance.
It also points out the contradiction of social standards by comparing the criticism that has faced sharing makeup and straps.
Zicsaloma continued: “I have always thought of doing a nose job to do it smaller. You can call it inferiority cluster, but I think we all have insecurities. For some, they always wear lids because they have no hair.
“Some ladies cannot wear some kind of dress because they have big stomachs or” K-Leg “. Wear some kind of dress because of your insecure. For some people, it is because they are short. If we have a choice, this insecurity will be corrected.
“They will say that you do not like the god who created you, but the ladies are wearing makeup. This is the way God created them? ”
He also argued that the reluctance to deal with personal insecurity often comes from the carelessness of processes, financial restrictions or the fear of public perception and stresses that the inability to make such changes should not give anyone the right to criticize others who They choose to do so.
“You think about how people will perceive you. You know we live in a very critical Nigerian country. The fact that you do not have the mind or money to correct your insecurities does not mean that you have to judge another person, “Zicsaloma said.
The comedian also turned to misconceptions about rhinoplasty, reassuring his followers that the process was not as dangerous as some had claimed.
“People said it is cancerous, they are not. Some said it was my final appearance. No, it takes about one to two years to show the final results,” he said.
“At the moment, my nose is still swollen. It will become even smaller. After about a year, you will see the final appearance. This is three weeks after my rhinoplasty, and I like what I already see. My face is less swollen and will still fall.
Collaboration with the hospital for rhinoplasty
Zicaloma further that he does not personally pay for the rhinoplasty process, describing the regulation as a cooperation between him and the hospital.
“We didn’t pay for the process. I won’t call it free, but it was a collaboration between me and the hospital.
He recalled that the hospital had taken his attention and assured readers that he was doing his own personal because of the large social media afterwards.
“The hospital dived my attention among others that I had seen in Instagram and Tiktok foods because I saw that they did it for a black person. After sending them messages to ask how much, they said I had a lot of fans and would like a collaboration.

“Before I agree on cooperation, I did research on their website and the doctor. I first did my research because it is a life -changing surgery, so I had to be sure. I had a list of surgeons who had done unsuccessful surgery and the name My doctor was not there.
Zicsaloma also describes the cost in detail, explaining that a consultation will usually range from $ 300 to $ 400, adding that rhinoplasty itself costs between $ 5,000 and $ 6,000, while eye rejuvenation and temporary facelift will cost about $ 2,500 each.
He added, “We didn’t pay for consultation. During the consultation through a TV call, my doctor told me that it would definitely look better with a nose job. I asked many questions about my fears and insecurities.
“He told me about the danger of infection and bleeding, which is one in thousands of cases. The worst thing that will happen is that the person would go for a review to make another one. I said I didn’t want to be very accepted, and said that it would give me ethnic rhinoplasty that would make me look still African. ”
Zicsaloma shared that his appointment for rhinoplasty was January 24 and traveled to Turkey the day before, January 24.
He added that during a physical examination, the doctor asked if he smoked or drank in which he explained that he had never smoked or drank in his life.

“He asked if I smoke or drink. I have never smoked in my life, I have never fallen into my life. I think those who drink and smoke face the risk of more complications. I’m not even a female. I have never been admitted to the hospital before, and this surgery was my first time, “Zicasloma said.
“You see that I’m better than some of you who judge me. Ethics, I am better than most of you, the comedian said he is throwing a jab to his critics.
Surgical experience and recovery process
The comedian then talked about his surgical experience, recalling that surgery lasted more than four hours under general anesthesia.
He recalled: “When I changed for surgery, they gave me once and I didn’t even know what happened. It was like closing my eyes and opened them to see a lot of bandages. But I think surgery lasted more than four hours. I was so weak by general anesthesia and I didn’t feel pain.
“There were a lot of rocks on my face and I felt very discomfort. He took me to the rehabilitation room where I stayed overnight. I didn’t go with anyone, so I wasn’t willing to go to the hotel. The weakness was for about two days.”
However, Zicaaloma noted that the only time he felt pain was during the recovery process saying: “The only time I felt pain was when they were rejecting my rejection, removing nasal packaging in the nose and non -intermittent stitches. It was not so much painful. ”
Dealing Critics and Negative Comments
Despite some harsh observations by his followers, Zicaaloma said he remained indifferent, stating that he had found the humor in most things and not anger.
“I wrote the second day after surgery. I couldn’t laugh so much because of the discomfort. Some comments were tough and rude, but it didn’t get to me as people think. I want death.
“Every time I wanted to laugh, I remember my doctor told me not to laugh. I don’t want to go back to review. My eyes were swollen. I couldn’t talk or eat well. Everything felt tight and rigid but gradually, I felt freely. ”
Facing critics focused on other aspects of his appearance, such as his forehead or mouth, Zicaaloma stated steadily: “I have no problem with my forehead, I have no problems with my mouth. If you feel it is too big , Na Sabi. It was my nose.
There were also concerns about the future appearance of his children, responding to those who questioned how his decision could affect them. “What about my children? They may like their nose. It’s not me. Let them come with the old na nose. What if it’s okay with that? Do you even know if I want organic children or if I want to adopt them? Leave my children out of it. ”
Completing his video, Zicsaloma encouraged others to examine plastic surgery to prioritize their happiness.
He said: “My advice for anyone who wants general plastic surgery is to do what makes you happy. Everyone wants to enhance their appearance.
“Someone judge me a video, saying,” How can a man do that? “But he was wearing nose rings and earrings. We all have or do something that can be judged. So whatever makes you happy. I love my result so far.”
