Tori Spelling is getting candid about her decision to get veneers after years of feeling self-conscious about her “disgusting” teeth.
In her new episode misSPELLING podcastthe actress, 51, admitted it let her teeth go in her 40s.
As a birthday present to herself, she decided to revamp her smile with the help of her BFF and favorite dentist Dr. Kevin Sands, who appeared as this week’s guest.
“I always say I’m afraid of the dentist. I let my teeth go s**t,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 star told listeners, before asking Sands, “So, how bad were my teeth?”
Not holding back, Sands — who has worked on the likes of Kim Kardashian and Drake — said Tori’s old teeth were “disgusting to say the least.”
And he continued: “They were chipped, discolored. She didn’t look like the Tori I knew.”

In the new episode of the MisSPELLING podcast, the 51-year-old actress admitted she let her teeth go s**t in her 40s and it got to the point where she “couldn’t smile anymore”. appeared in December 2023
Tori agreed with Sands’ blunt assessment. “Yeah, I couldn’t smile anymore. I didn’t smile,” he said. “I didn’t have a cavity until I was 40. It was all downhill from there.”
After years of hiding her smile, Tori arrived at the Sands and they decided veneers were the way to go.
“I wanted to make you look like the good old days, the hot little Tori I know,” Sands said, before explaining the process.
“We reshaped every single one of Tori’s teeth. We took these custom molds and from those molds, we hand crafted every single tooth and just rebuilt her smile to how it was 20 years ago,” she said.
“Now you have a full smile. They are white, beautiful, sexy. See how you are. You look 10 years younger.’
Tori is absolutely thrilled with the result. ‘I’ve never been happier. I’m smiling now. There is a whole new me. People underestimate a smile,” he gushes.
Tori got her veneers done just days before her 51st birthday on May 16.

“Here I am with my bestie getting my new teeth out today!” he chirped before adding, “They’re going in. Here they are.”
Dr. Sands presented the pearly whites in a prototype mouth as Tori declared, “I can’t wait!”
The sassy media personality then asked her doctor, “Will I look hot? [with my new teeth]?’ to which he replied, “Hotter! Hotter than hell.’
The spellcaster agreed, “Good answer. Correctly.’
“Let’s have a good day guys,” added the dental professional before Tori said, “Here we go.”
Then he asked, “Can I go to bed now?” as Dr. Sands replied, “Let’s go.”
Tori launched her weekly misSPELLING podcast in April after filing for divorce from her estranged husband Dean McDermott after 10 months of separation and 18 years of marriage.
Spelling lists their separation date as June 17, 2023 and cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
She requested sole physical custody of their five minor children — Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, seven — while also seeking joint legal custody.
Weeks later, McDermott responded by seeking joint physical and legal custody, according to Page sixto their children.
Dean also sought spousal support for himself, while asking the court to terminate Tori’s spousal support, mirroring her original request.

Despite the legal back-and-forth, McDermott recently praised Tori as a “very sophisticated” and “lovable person” as he defended her from an Instagram troll.
The actor tagged his new girlfriend Lil Calo on Instagram last month, and Tori showed her support by liking the post.
One commenter thought Tori’s support was “cool”, to which Dean replied: “It’s because she’s an extremely sophisticated and compassionate, loving person, which is so much more [than] I can tell about the trolls commenting on this post.’
He also confirmed that Tori is in a new relationship but did not say with whom.
“Tori has a boyfriend. People break up and break up better [than] together. That’s life. I’ll pray for happiness for all the haters,” he concluded.
