Dakota Mortensen shocked fans by bringing them along as she documented his ‘crazy’ hair transplant journey.
On Friday, the 31-year-old Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star went to his own TikTok page to share the various stages and lengthy process of restoring his locks after he started balding.
In the first clip of the procedure shared on his page, the Utah native posed in a surgical gown and hat while acting emotional for comedic effect.
“When you’re bald, you get a hair transplant,” he captioned the video.
In a hilariously unexpected moment, he added another TikTok of himself playfully busting out dance moves in an empty room at Utah Facial Plastics — where he got his transplant — all while grooving to Kendrick Lamar’s hit Not Like Us.
“When you’re left alone in a room you shouldn’t be alone,” he wrote. “I’ll be posting my full hair transplant procedure tonight @utahfacialplastics #hairtransplant #balding #daddy.”

“I couldn’t give much cause for how bloody it was. But such a crazy process,” she shared in a video of the process
He added another clip detailing the entire day, starting at 7am, leading up to the procedure. Fans saw his hair partially shaved and the last signs of his new hairline.
“So that’s my new hairline, guys,” she said, laughing that she looked like a “Viking.”
She shared another perspective as the plastic surgeons began the procedure, candidly admitting, “I feel like something is squeezing my head.”
The surgeon narrated each step, while Dakota enthusiastically declared that the transplant was “the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
Showing off the results of the process he said, “Okay guys, this is the finished product. He looks like a bunch of worms, but I can assure you I’ll look like Fabio when it’s all said and done.”

Mortensen’s hair transplant journey comes just weeks after it was revealed that he and his SLMW co-star Taylor Frankie Paul hinted they were back together in a viral video.
Paul initially revealed that they had split in September, but acknowledged the possibility of them getting back together.
“I would say we’re working on things, and I really have no idea where it goes from here,” she told Us Weekly at the time.
He continued: “We’re not completely together, but we’re not completely over. I don’t know what the future holds with him and I.’
Last October, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was officially renewed for a second season, with the entire original cast expected to return.
Since its premiere on Hulu on September 6, the series has proven to be a huge hit with viewers.
Its story revolves around #MomTok, a group of Mormon influencers who are embroiled in a sex scandal when one of them reveals he’s a swinger — and hints that some of the others might be, too.

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has officially been renewed for a second season, with the entire original cast expected to return
Sparks flew between members of the main cast, which consisted of Paul, Jen Affleck, Demi Engemann, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura and Layla Taylor.
But despite fierce clashes between the women in season one, they’ve all signed on to return for season two, according to TMZ.
Pre-production has progressed in Utah and the cast is expected to begin filming the upcoming season within a week, according to the claim.
The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives ranked as the number one unscripted show on Hulu, the streamer’s biggest premiere behind The Kardashians.
