One of the most respected organizations in the travel industry has named Miami Beach as “the world’s leading lifestyle destination in 2023”.
THE World Travel Awards gave the city this honor after winning the top prize for “North America’s Best Beach Destination” and “North America’s Top Urban Destination” earlier in 2023.
The city has been recognized for its famous collection of public art, the wide variety of museums and art galleries, the multitude of spas and luxury hotels that adorn the picturesque coastline, and the gastronomic experiences throughout the city.
“This award reaffirms that Miami Beach continues to be one of America’s most iconic family vacation towns, with pristine beaches, one-of-a-kind art deco buildings, a wealth of artistic and cultural offerings, a world-class hospitality as well as an abundance of health and wellness activities,” the City of Miami Beach said in a statement.
This marks the 6th consecutive year in which Miami Beach won first place in the World Travel Awards category.
Miami Beach is also working to expand its lifestyle distinctions by doubling down on immersive technology, such as the recent launch of the Experience Miami Beach app, which helps users find the best ways to experience the city.
