The new season of Netflix Love is blind UK has taken the country by storm, with fans following the cast on their journey to find true, authentic love without the distraction of a pretty face. It was so successful that it has already been renewed for a 2nd season.

In the first episode of the show, Sam talked about how he had changed his physical appearance before taking part in the social experiment. In particular, he mentioned his nose job because he was always “conscious” of his appearance.

Since then, viewers have been wondering what Sam was like before and now they can have the answers.

An old YouTube video resurfaced from Sam’s last year at the clinic where he did his work. Sam was interviewed before the procedure, during the healing journey, as well as showing how he cared, with the nose that fans know from the show.

He opens up about how “terrified” he is at the thought of getting married one day and being photographed down the aisle at a “bad angle”.

The video shows the “reshaping” procedure he planned to undergo, which included flattening the curve on the bridge of his nose.

The video then cuts to ten days later, where Sam is back at the clinic for a check-up, removal of the splint and removal of his stitches.

“Oh, I’m so happy. So happy I feel like I have to celebrate. Jesus Christ,” he exclaimed, looking at his new figure in the mirror.

Just eight weeks later, Sam showed off his healed nose to the camera, saying: “The physical change is just one aspect, and then you come to the other side and it’s this mental change of having something that you’ve been stigmatized for your whole life. life – and now I know for the next 30 years, 60 years, I can just live without that one thing that always gets me down.”

“I felt like he was holding me back. Now I did, honestly it’s from the actual way I look physically and mentally, I’m just free. I feel free. It’s an amazing feeling.”

Sam continued, “For me, it’s changed everything, I can walk into places anywhere and just be comfortable. I don’t feel like everyone is looking at me from an angle that I’m uncomfortable with.”

So, what procedure did Sam perform? So on New You Clinic website, Sam’s procedure is used to promote their ultrasonic rhinoplasty.
