A BLOKE has left people in stitches after enjoying a bright yellow curry with his brand new teeth gone completely wrong.
TikTok user Aaron (@aaaarr044) took the internet by storm after he uploaded a video of his partner’s hilarious blunder while enjoying a meal during their vacation.
According to Aaron, who had also flown to Antalya, Turkey, his friend had gotten a brand new set of veneers to boost his smile.
After arriving at the tourist hotspot, the man got his hands on plastic makeshift shavings and all beaming, the duo headed out for a meal.
But little did he know that treating himself to a hearty portion of meat with rice wouldn’t be the smartest move.
Sometime during their lunch, Aaron realized something was wrong with his friend’s dazzling smile – and it wasn’t white at all.
”This is what happens when you get plastic teeth […] and you eat a Chinese curry,” Aaron said, before revealing the epic fail.
As he picked up his phone, the beauty hunk was seen laughing as he couldn’t get over his already yellow teeth.
Advising others not to make the same mistake, Aaron wrote in parallel the clip: ”Don’t eat curry with temps in.”
Unfortunately for his friend, who also seemed to be slightly bothered by the smile, the stains didn’t come off no matter how hard he tried to remove the grim hue.
“Yellow teeth for two days,” Aaron could not overcome the disaster.
Since being posted on the popular platform, the clip has racked up nearly 605,000 views in just three days, leaving hundreds in stitches.
Although the friend was seen laughing along with Aaron in the video, many speculated that he was genuinely horrified by what had just happened and was simply trying to hide the ‘pain’.
One person said: ”He laughs the pain away”.
“You can tell he’s crying inside,” agreed another.
”The man wants to cry 😫😭😂” they shared their comments.
As others bravely opened up about their horror stories, some shared tips and tricks to remove the yellow stain.
One TikTok user, for example, advised: “Removing nail polish on a q-tip.”
“I would remove them immediately because there is no life without curry,” said one foodie.
Dentist-approved teeth whitening tips
ERIN Fraunddorf, DMD, MSD, owner of BOCA Orthodontic + Whitening Studio in Missouri, shared her top tips for whiter teeth.
Seek whitening treatment from a professional. It’s often more powerful and will be the most effective so you don’t waste your money on a product that doesn’t work or can harm you. Also, you only get one set of teeth, so it’s best not to experiment with them.
Examine the cause of the staining. There are many causes for teeth to have a yellow or brown tint. Be sure to get an evaluation and diagnosis from a professional to ensure you get the best treatment for your stains. Not all stains are the same, so they may require different treatments.
Consider your lifestyle, smile goals, and budget. When choosing a whitening treatment that is best for you, consider many factors when designing a custom plan. Some people like working to whiten at home, some prefer only in-office treatments, some need to go really bright for say a wedding, while others would like a gentler, gradual, consistent approach to whitening.
Ease into it. Start incorporating teeth whitening into your routine gradually to get your teeth used to it and you can closely monitor your sensitivity level to adjust how often you can whiten.
Try to prevent. Make small changes to your lifestyle in an effort to prevent stains from penetrating your teeth. For example, sip soiling drinks through a straw, rinse with plain water after drinking anything soiling, and choose plain water over sparkling whenever possible.
Water floss to help discover stains between teeth. Remove stubborn stains between your teeth with a water flosser because toothbrush bristles can only reach so much of the surface of your teeth.
What are veneers?
Veneers are a primarily cosmetic procedure used to improve the appearance of your teeth, get rid of chips, stains or misaligned teeth.
Although veneers were not designed to be a permanent fix, they can now last up to 25 years with proper care.
Made of porcelain, veneers only cover the front surface of the tooth – they will mimic the size, shape and color of your teeth.
How long do veneers last?
According Revitalize Dental Centerthe permanent style of veneers is expected to last 10 to 15 years.
They say: “You will need to care for them in the same way you would your natural teeth, with one exception.
“It’s important to use non-abrasive toothpaste as this can damage the veneers. You should continue to brush your teeth twice a day, including flossing daily.”
