Lamin Yamal has revealed he got his braces adjusted in time for Barcelona’s El Clasico with Real Madrid.
El Clasico is arguably the most famous football match in the world, with two of the greatest teams in the entire history of the game in Barca and Real facing off for Spain’s unofficial crown.
Over the years, the two fierce rivals have met 257 times in competitive matches, with Real Madrid narrowly ahead with 105 wins to Barcelona’s 100.
This weekend’s clash sees the traditional top two head to head once again at the Santiago Bernabeu, with leaders Barcelona looking to pull off a huge win to confirm their status at the top of LaLiga.
And to get into the spirit of the game, Barca’s Spanish wonderkid Jamal showed off his brand new braces, in his team’s blue and dark red colours.

Yamal has already had a dramatic impact on Hansi Flick’s Barcelona side, who are top of LaLiga
Jewelery brand Twoeys released a clip of the winger showing off his impressive new teeth, which are now adorned with the company’s two star logo.
The youngster has been one of the most exciting players to watch over the past 12 months and catapulted into superstardom in the summer with his stunning displays for Spain at the European Championships.
Still just 17, the forward leads LaLiga for assists – six – while team-mate Robert Lewandowski has demolished the competition with 12 goals in 10 games as Hansi Flick’s side lead the way at the top.
The Blaugrana have suffered just one defeat so far and won their other nine games, while Real have also lost just once.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are just three points behind Barca with two wins and three draws, although the Catalan titans’ goal difference of 23 means Real will need to win and secure an 11-goal swing to take top spot position.
Yamal will also be the first candidate for the upcoming Kopa Trophy, which is to be awarded on Tuesday.
The Kopa trophy is awarded to the most impressive young player of the past year, with previous winners including Jude Bellingham, Pedri and Gavi.
Yamal has been in terrific form this season and was part of the Barca side that dismantled Bayern Munich in a rampant 4-1 win in the Champions League this week.

Bayern boss Kompany (pictured) says Yamal is a natural replacement for Lionel Messi

Yamal has become arguably the most impressive young player currently active in Europe’s top five leagues
Vincent Kompany praised Yamal and the club for their confidence in him, saying: “It’s great for Barca as a club. [to have Yamal] so shortly after the departure of a player like Messi.
“For my generation, Messi was one of the key figures of our time. To already have a player who can replace him shortly after that player leaves is very unique.
Kompany added that Barcelona’s academy system, La Masia, can take much of the credit for having developed Lamal as a youngster in the same way Messi did.
“Credit to La Masia for always trusting these players and giving them a chance.”
