Jessie James Decker has revealed she had ‘problems’ with her breast implants mid-pregnancy with her fourth child.
The 35-year-old country singer got candid about her breast implants — which she first got in 2021 — during a Q&A session on her Instagram Story over the weekend. When a fan asked if she was nervous about breastfeeding her soon-to-be newborn, Decker simply replied, “No.” However, she also confessed that she had some challenges with her implants during her recent pregnancy.
“I’ve had implants and breastfed just fine,” she wrote in her since-expired Instagram Story, shared viaPeople. “I will say the thing is, if I knew we were going to have another one, I wouldn’t have gone so big. Because when I’m pregnant they get bulky. Like quadruple in size.”
The musician – who is currently expecting her fourth child with husband Eric Decker – went on to conclude that she will have a breast reduction next, despite how much she enjoyed getting the implants.
“Def will need reduction in the future and will shrink. It was fun while it lasted,” he wrote. “But phew dey bigz already and I’m over it. Give me some shmediumz.”
As noted by Healthline, while the implants themselves will be fine, a woman’s breast tissue “grows and changes with rising progesterone and estrogen levels during pregnancy.” The publication also notes that changes in breast tissue “can sometimes weaken breast tissue because your breasts expand and then contract,” which can change the way breasts look even with implants.
Decker’s comments about her implants came two years after she first revealed she had a breast augmentation, a procedure to increase breast size. While sharing a photo of herself in a bikini Instagram in May 2021, she expressed how happy she was with the results of the procedure.
At the time, she also noted that she treated herself to a “new bob” after she and her husband decided they were “done having babies.” She then talked about how her appearance had changed over the years, which she said prompted her to get breast augmentation.
“I had a breast reduction and lift a few years ago when they hung around my belly button, but having such stretchy skin and not being happy with the size, I decided to have it done,” she explained. “They were so big and lively before the kids and I wanted them back…plus some. I feel great; I’m very happy with them and I feel like a brand new woman.”
Although she previously said she wouldn’t have any more children, the “I Still Love You” singer recently took to Instagram to reveal that she is having another baby. Earlier this month, she shared a video of herself stepping out onto a balcony and holding a cup while showing off her baby bump.
“Good morning,” she captioned the video, which was of Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby.”
After sharing her pregnancy news, she also revealed in an Instagram Q&A that she and her husband were “very, very, very surprised” when they found out they were having a baby.
“It wasn’t planned,” she clarified in her expired Instagram Story, shared via Page six. “As you know, I was telling Eric that it was probably time for me to have a vasectomy because I felt like we were done. But I feel like God always has other plans. It was extremely shocking and amazing but [we are] happy excited
Decker is set to welcome her fourth child with her husband as they are already parents to a nine-year-old daughter, Vivianne Rose, and two sons: Eric Jr, eight, and Forrest, five.
The singer’s recent Instagram Q&A isn’t the first time she’s opened up about her health and family. Last year, she made headlines when she defended her children from online trolls who accused her of working abs onto their bodies. Respond to the hate the comments of her Instagram post then, writing: “It’s a sad world we live in today when we have healthy kids who are extremely active, play sports [and] Building muscle is naturally ‘weird’.
In another message to a co-parent she commented: “From one mother to another. Please don’t call my children’s looks weird just because they don’t look the way you think they should? It’s rude.”
