In the quest for youthful, glowing skin, many turn to expensive treatments and products.
However, one skincare enthusiast, who proudly maintains her youthful appearance at 37 without ever resorting to botox, threads, fillers or any cosmetic procedures, shares some lesser-known anti-aging tips.
Nadine, who makes skincare her personal priority, regularly shares smart tips and tricks on her TikTok account @thenaturalnadine.
In a video, she shared her “top skincare secrets that will transform your skin and overall health.”
Drawing on her personal experience and a self-proclaimed “lazy girl” skincare routine, she reveals practical and affordable ways to maintain healthy skin.
She says: “These are anti-aging tips that no one talks about, but they will transform your skin. I know this because I am 37 years old.
“I have never had botox, threads, fillers or any type of cosmetic surgery.
“In many of these discoveries I came across because I definitely have a lazy girl grooming routine.”
This led Nadine to her first discovery, which was to wash her face only once a day.
She continues: “I started seeing articles from celebrities and dermatologists saying that you should only wash your face once a day because you want to preserve the natural oils in your skin.
“You’re not constantly stripping your skin of these natural oils.
“What you can do is just rinse your face with water if you want, but only use filtered water.
“The water you put on your face and hands is just as important as the water you drink because there are a lot of bad chemicals in it.”
Nadine explains that chlorine can cause “premature aging and can make your skin look more dehydrated.”
According to beauty experts, excessive exposure to chlorine dries out the skin, leading to irritation and itching.
Prolonged contact with chlorine over the years can cause premature aging and significantly affect the health of your skin.
I’ve never understood why I have to wash my face in the morning after doing my nightly skincare routine

Nadine continues: “When I wash my face, I only use these soft cotton pads.
“The skin on our face is so different from the skin on our body.
“I think a towel is too hard.”
Nadine also emphasizes the importance of the food we eat.
Why is fermented water an antiaging powerhouse?
Fermented water has gained popularity in skin care for its inexpensive—yet highly effective—benefits.
- It’s packed with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants – including vitamins B, C and E – that help promote healthy, glowing skin
- The fermentation process produces enzymes that enhance the rice’s ability to lighten dark spots and banish hyperpigmentation
- The cooling and anti-inflammatory properties of fermented rice water can help soothe irritated or sensitive skin, which is especially beneficial for conditions such as eczema, acne and sunburn
- Regular use of fermented rice water can lead to smoother and softer skin by promoting gentle exfoliation. Natural acids formed during fermentation help remove dead skin cells, revealing a fresher layer of skin
- It is also known to promote cell regeneration, which can help heal scars and improve the overall appearance of the skin
She says: “I always tell you to eat your skincare.
“So make sure you’re consuming as much vitamin C as you’re putting on your face, because the vitamin C you’re consuming will actually help you build collagen and also protect your immune system.”
Finally, Nadine recommends investing in “really” antioxidant-rich skin care products “rather than expensive, toxic skin care products.”
They are popular because of marketing
Nadine
She says: “More antioxidants mean more anti-aging benefits.
“Many of these well-known, extremely expensive brands are also very toxic.
“They’re popular because of the marketing, but what your skin really needs is more antioxidants to help you build collagen.”
Her video has garnered over 800,000 views with many beauty fans rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “I just put water on my face to wake up and at night I use an aha product to clean it.”
Another added: “Yes!!! I’ve never understood why I have to wash my face in the morning after doing my nightly skincare routine.”
To which Nadine replied: “Omg, same!! It came out to me BC [because] I was always late lol I didn’t have time to wash my face again.”
How to reverse aging in just 2 weeks, according to the royal nutritionist
LONDON-based Gabriela Peacock, who has helped the likes of Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie prepare for their weddings.
She told Fabulous: “The science is clear that we all have the power to make simple, life-changing changes to improve our future selves – regardless of our genetic hand.
“The reality is that we all sometimes indulge in unhealthy eating habits such as processed foods, smoking cigarettes, drinking too much alcohol, breathing in city pollutants and even drinking water from plastic bottles – none of which are good for us.
“All it does is promote the aging process, but we all have the ability to change that.”
It may be hard, but try to stay away from sugary carbs because they fuel chronic inflammation, which is one of the worst enemies of reversing aging.
Now you will only end up gaining weight if you consume them regularly, but your energy and hormone levels will be affected and this will affect how it looks and feels.
Whatever your age or health status, it’s never too late to reverse how fast you age and embrace the energy and vigor of a younger you.
Antioxidants, such as vitamins A, C and E, are essential for neutralizing free radicals – the culprits behind premature aging.
Incorporating a range of colorful fruits and vegetables into your diet provides a powerful source of antioxidants.
Omega-3 fatty acids, abundant in oily fish such as salmon and flaxseed, are vital for maintaining skin elasticity and hydration.
Omega-3s act as nourishment for your skin, locking in moisture and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
Collagen, a structural protein that declines with age, can be replenished through collagen-rich foods such as bone broth and lean protein sources.
