Evan Ellingson is dead. The former child star and The Experts: Miami the actor was 35 years old.
The young star who had not been filmed for more than 10 years died on Sunday November 5 at his home, according to TMZ. The actor was found in the bedroom of his San Bernardino County home, according to the coroner’s office report. The exact circumstances of his death have not yet been clarified, but authorities said TMZ no foul play is expected.

Ellingson’s father told the outlet that he was found in a sober house after the artist reportedly struggled with drugs in the past, but was apparently doing better. His sudden death would have been a shock to his family.
The actor was known for his television roles, notably in The Experts: Miami in which he plays Kyle Harmon, son of David Caruso’s Horatio Caine. During his time on the series, Ellingson appeared in 18 episodes spanning from 2007 to 2010. In addition to The Experts: Miamihis other television roles included roles in 24, where he played Jack Bauer’s nephew Josh. He also appeared in Bone, Complete savages, Crazy TV, TitusAnd General Hospital.
Ellingson has also made an impact cinematically, starring in My sister’s keeper alongside Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin among others. He also appeared in the Clint Eastwood-war film made Letters from Iwo Jima, Confession, Rules of the game, time changer, CartilageAnd Living in fear.
It’s been over 10 years since Ellingson graced the screens with The Experts: MiamiThe Dishonor season 8 episode is the last. The episode aired on March 22, 2010.
