Danamarie McNicholl has joined Fox News Channel as a correspondent based in Miami. She comes from KFMB San Diego, where she was a reporter. McNicholl starts at Fox on November 6.
She spent two years at KFMBwhere she covered, among other stories, the crash of an F-18 military jet near Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
McNicholl was previously a reporter and anchor at KREM Spokane, where she spent four years, starting as a general assignment reporter before becoming a morning anchor. She got her start as an editorial intern at XETV San Diego.
A cum laude graduate of Gonzaga University, McNicholl holds a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast and electronic journalism. She is completing her master’s degree in criminal justice and cybersecurity at Boston University.
McNicholl was named Miss Washington in 2018.
