Singapore: The Orthodontic Association (Singapore) Conference (AOSC) has enhanced its capacity as a leading event for orthodontic professionals with a program that includes pre-conference activities and presenting developments, innovations and collaborations in Orthodontics. Held between February 28 and March 3, the two -year event gathered a different audience of 785 participants from 31 countries at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The host and the dates of the long -awaited Asian Pacific orthodontic Congress (APOC) were also announced.
AOSC 2025 presented an exciting scientific program presented by 11 renowned experts. Among them were the main speakers, Dr. Ute Schneider-Moser, who is an orthodontic and dynamic presenter known for providing fascinating talks with visually aggressive slides and Dr. Sandra Tai, who is an orthodontist with experience in the treatment of complex aligners. The conference covered key issues, including the future of stable orthodontic devices over alignrs, innovations in the treatment of Class III, the innovation of 3D -shaped memory aligners, the use of aligns in cases of rectal surgery and rectal surgery. Participants participated in 17 sessions, such as conference documents, discussions in groups and workshops that focus on emerging techniques and technologies that shape modern orthodontic care.
The commercial exhibition hosted 22 exhibitors from six countries, with cutting-edge products and solutions, such as the CBCT for the imaging and design of treatment, self-righteous arms systems, artificial remote monitoring of intelligence, memory polymers and mini-implants. These innovations provided the participants the opportunity to explore the latest developments in orthodontic technology and treatment methodologies.
An exciting announcement on AOSC 2025 was that the Orthodontics Association (Singapore) – AAA – will host the next APOC, which will take place at Marina Bay Sands on November 6-8, 2026. APOC is the official Congress of the Orthodontic Society of the Asian Pacific Company.
Dr. Koo Chieh Shen, president of AOS, said: “We are honored that AOS has been selected to host APOC in 2026. The success of AOSC 2025 has laid a strong foundation for this upcoming event. We are excited to join the Orthodontic Community of Asia-Pacific.
In addition to the conference rooms, AOSC 2025 promoted networking, cooperation and diversity. The scientific poster competition presented 27 posters, highlighting innovative research and case studies that contributed to the progress of orthodontic knowledge. In addition, a brand new forum before Congress, Women in Orthodontics, celebrated women’s achievements in the field and faced the specific challenges and opportunities they have in orthodontic practice. The meeting provided a vital platform for guidance, defense and exchange of knowledge, enhancing the importance of diversity in shaping the future of orthodontics.
In addition, the social events of the signature, such as the welcome reception, held at PS.Cafe One Fullerton and the Bay Run AOSC gardens, provided a loose environment for the delegates to connect, exchange ideas and create important professional relationships.
Following the success of AOSC 2025, the Orthodontic community eagerly looks at the APOC 2026, which promises to be an even more extensive platform for the exchange of knowledge and the evolution of industry, redefining the future of Orthodontics in the Asia-Pacific area.
